Do you rent out a property in England? It is the legal responsibility of every landlord to make sure that all gas appliances and gas pipe work is safe to use.
A landlord must make sure that gas appliances are safe by having them checked every 12 months by a gas safe registered engineer. At IJS Trade Services, we can carry out this service for you.
This will include:
2 hour time slot.
Courtesy call/text with an ETA.
Tightness test (making sure no gas leaks are in property).
Visual inspection of gas pipework.
Visual inspection of appliance.
Visual inspection of flue and ventilation.
All safety devices checked.
Operational check.
Gas pressure testing.
Gas rating.
High and low combustion test.
Co detector and smoke alarm check (please be advised it is a legal responsibility for a rented property to have working and in date smoke alarms and co detectors at all times)
Digital certificate sent instantly to any email address.
Free annual inspection reminder sent to your email.
(** Please be aware, it is the landlords responsibility to make sure there is a responsible person available at the property between the allocated appointment time, Failure to gain access to a property will result in a £95 no access charge. IJS Trade Services do not offer a key collection service from estate agents. If the appointment needs to be rescheduled 24hours notice must be given or a £95 charge will be applicable.
